The story of Reminders of Him begins with the 26 years old woman Kenna Rowan who is returning from prison for the charge of involuntary vehicular manslaughter of her boyfriend named Scotty.

Over 300 letters are congregated which reveal how Kenna and Scotty were drunk that night resulting in a shock by the accident, she walked home, later Scotty died, and Kenna was blamed despite being innocent.

After knowing the truth, Ledger promised Kenna to set up her meeting with Scotty’s mother Grace, and he did the same showing a copy of Kenna’s letter to Grace. During the reading of the letters, Grace realized her mistake and feels sorry for Kenna too, and seeks forgiveness from her.

The time came when Grace invites Kenna for the dinner at her apartment where Kenna meets Diem for the first time after five years and instantly becomes emotional with teary eyes and feels overwhelmed at the same time.
