The Lord of the Flies book starts with a group of British boys who are being evacuated from England due to the war but unfortunately, the plane was attacked and crashed on a desert island

There are no adults able to survive the crash except the boys between the age of 6 to 12, among all the kids Ralph (fair-haired) boy is the eldest kid on the island and is 12.

To maintain civility, all the kids decided to vote for a leader and they come up with selecting Ralph as their leader who has good command over everything and natural leadership qualities too.

He implemented three rules immediately, one is to learn to survive, have fun and maintain constant smoke signal on that beach to get a superior chance of being recused.

The other character in the book Jack is not happy with not being selected and voted down, and a quiet boy named Simon goes up to the mountain to create a signal fire by using the piggy spectacles, where they found the island has water and food which can be essential to survive there.

The group is divided between Ralph and Jack after developing an imaginary monster that all started to believe existed on the island but Ralph failed in believing the boys that it existed, whereas Jack tells all the boys that he personally has hunted the monster in the night.

The day passes and one day Jack and his team are unable to create a fire signal which leads to a failing chance of attracting a ship passing through the island.

The story moves ahead, and one night when everyone is asleep, a fighter pilot’s body falls on the island and tangled in a tree after being involved in an Air battle.

The plot gets interesting Eric and Sam see the fighter pilot and misconceived that it is the beast and informed the group making all believe the beast is real.

After such an incident, Simon conducts an imaginary dialogue with the head after hunting a sow, which he dubs the “Lord of the Flies” indicating that there is no beast existed on the island.

When Simon came to know about the beast which is the dead pilot, Unfortunately, he got killed by his team due to a tragic incident.
