Charlie also used to go to a college centre in Beekman and attend classes over there to improve intellectual disability, where he founds a teacher Alice Kinnian who was impressed with Charlie’s curiosity to learn.
Alice Kinnian does several experiments in the laboratory and he selected Charlie to undergo an experimental surgical technique to increase intelligence and advice him to keep a journal.
This technique is already been performed on various animals to avoid any severe issues with humans, among animals, Professor has achieved the greatest success on a laboratory mouse named Algernon.
That’s why the entire experiment, progression report, and narrative were named “Flowers for Algernon” which is written by Charlie to keep tracking his progression by the directors of this experiment.
